A request for information of "handbill" publication, and your contribution
This time ICO, which continues publication of international arts books, is planing to publish a new title dealing with International Newspaper Inserts, entitled "Chirashi".
The Newspaper Insert is the economy of the country, and the barometer of life and also it's an important media which symbolizes real common folk's culture.
This book describes the "Chirashi" culture which expresses directly the current trends of our times. Also, we'll try to compare and contrast the Newspaper Insert expressions through each country's representative ones visually. It is going to deepen the expression domain academically.
Each country has various differences, such as language, lifestyle, and the economic situation but "The Newspaper Insert" is the common visual media from all over the world which just connects with people and industries through the shortest distance.
The "Newspaper Insert" system which has spread internationally, has a common media that is connecting somewhere and some spot.
Please participate in a comparative experimental trial for this edition.
In addition, your contribution to this book is no charge. Since we have a page restriction please book your page in advance. If by any chance it becomes full prior to your submission please forgive us.

A Submission conditions
1 Please make your design layout according to the following indication sample.2 In order to keep our publication identity, please use the indication layout, font, font's size and layout spaces.
3 You may enlarge or reduce your layout design within our border indications.
4 Header space for your data information is from top edge to 45 mm. ( Please refer following B indications )

6 Final deadline for the 2005 issue is November 30, 2004.
7 Submissions should be by CD using Illustrator software / Version 8.0.
8 Please put in your necessary images into the CD. Each usage images should be 360 dpi, and EPS or jpg format. Also include two printed copies of your submission we may use as proofs.
9 Please let us know your contact person & contact number plus email address.
10 When sending your CD to ICO HQ. please indicate "No commercial Value" on your Postal form in order to avoid unnecessary import tax.
