Tom Saecker / Holland Tom Saecker was born in 1953 in Texas, USA. He studied art at the University of Wisconsin, followed by painting and drawing at the University of Utah. During a year in San Fransisco he taught himself to draw, gaining inspiration from the city's rich cultural and artistic heritage. He also spent several years in Los Angeles during which time he studied illustration at the 'Otis Pabor's school of design. He is however primarily a self-taught artist. He gained most of his education from highly creative working professionals of the L.A. art scene. After having lived in various European countries, such as The Netherlands, he has been living and working in Utah again since middle nineties. Amongst his clients are IBM, Albert Heijn NL, Heineken Beer Co, Dept. Store De Bijenkorf, ABN/Amro, Siemens and KLM.
