Ross Thomson / England Award winning London artist, Ross Thompson has a free and comical style that made him popular in the field of advertising and animation. After graduating in 1962 in Graphic Design from the Edinburgh College of Art, he became an art director in various advertising agencies until he chose a different path as a freelance cartoonist. Since then, his cartoons have appeared in many successful advertising campaigns and magazines. He has also animated television commercials and won numerous prizes in various cartoon competitions, such as first prize Eurotunnel, 1994. His witty imagination and clever observations have made him succesful in writing and illustrating children's books.
