| Christine Wendt is one of the few artists who's talents are reflected in so many different areas from children's illustration & fashion illustration, to soft landscape watercolours and collage. Her style is a blend of the classic, the fashionable and the cute. She is the author and illustrator of 6 children's books, which have been published in 5 different languages and has earned a solid reputation in advertising since she graduated from the Institut fur Modeshaffen (fashion insititute) in Frankfurt, Germany, 1974. Since 1980, Christine has lived in Florence, Italy and earned an impressive portfolio with fashion clients such as Gucci, Fendi and Ermenegildo Zegna. She has even made animations for the Fiat automobile company, the Visa credit card company and illustrations which have frequently appeared in fashion magazines. She is definately a stylish artists who's work has become renowned in many countries throughout the world. |
