Eddie Young / U.S.A. Although Eddie started out as a musician he always had a deep love and appreciation for art. Growing up in the fifties, his major art influences ranged from Mickey Mouse cartoons to Mad Magazine. Eddie loved to draw. He was often scolded in school for drawing on the margins of his papers. He continued to draw and has volumes of sketch books to attest to this. When Eddie put down his guitar and picked up the airbrush he plunged head-long into a full time career as a humorous cartoon illustrator. Eddie does original and licensed characters and has a client list that includes Warner Brothers, Disney, Tyco Toys, Hanna Barbera, Fox, and Mattel. He has reps in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. A few years ago Eddie added a computer to his vast array of creative tools. This has proven to be a highly creative method for rendering finished color illustration. Computer graphics allows Eddie to incorporate new dimensions such as design, type, and digital effects into each piece, staying on the cutting edge of this progressive industry.
